 ETBF has opened for tournament organizers to apply for their tournaments to be adopted in the European Bowling Tour 2009, which is the 10th consecutive tour in Europe.
The ETBF Presidium has a strong believe, that the EBT 2010 will be yet another record breaking year for the tour in Europe.

 A new tournament, with the name “I Federation Tenpin Bowling Cup 2008”,
will be held on 28 and 29 July 2008 in Barcelona - Catalonia, just
after the conclusion of Stop 11 in the EBT 2008, the 30 Trofeu
Internacional Ciutat de Barcelona.

 Sweden's Mikael Kanold has won the EBT Hammer Bronzen Schietspoel Tournament after bowling games of 248 and 234 in the final four. His 2 game aggregate of 482 was enough to beat off Tore Torgersen (Norway) with 448, Martin Larsen (Sweden) with 411 and Brian Voss (USA) with 366.

 Sweden's Martin Larsen has defeated Denmark's Frederik Øhrgaard 203-189, 193-179 in the final of the Ebonite Luxembourg International Open winning 5,000 Euros. Øhrgaard took home 4,000 Euros. Austria's Thomas Gross finished third after losing his semi final
224-208, 248-214 and England's Dominic Barrett finished fourth after losing his semi final 200-238, 211-210, 300-173.

 Andy James and Alex Hamilton, the organizers of the PTBC (Premier Tenpin Bowling Club) English Open, have announced that they have joined hands with Ebonite International to become the name sponsor of the 2008 English Open. The Ebonite English Open will be held at Lakeside Superbowl in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England from December 3 through 7, 2008.
