European Bowling Tour 2007 LogoOsku Palermaa (Finland) defeated Jason Belmonte (Australia) 258 to 195 in the battle of the two handers at the final of the EBT Istanbul Open winning 10,000 Euros. Palermaa won 5,000 Euros for second place.

In the second semi final, Jason Belmonte defeated Mathieu Berges 225 to 224.

In the first semi final, Osku Palermaa defeated Paul Moor 249 to 189.

In final step 5, Jason Belmonte shot 952 to secure his place in the semi finals just ahead of Paul Moor (England) on 939. Third was Osku Palermaa (Finland) with 895 and fourth was Switzerland's Mathieu Berges on 891. Stuart Williams (England) finished fifth with 816. There remains the possibility of the final being a replay of last week's World Tenpin Masters, Belmonte vs Moor.

In final step 4, Stuart Wiliams leads the way with 937 over 4 games, just ahead of Osku Palermaa on 934 and Jason Belmonte on 916. Paul Moor is fifth on 890. Cut to top 8 is 867 with Kirsten Penny just missing out in ninth one pin behind. The remaining 8 bowlers play a further 4 games from scratch, top 4 go through to the semi finals.

In final step 3, Kirsten Penny bowls 866 over 4 games to progress to the next round. Osku Palermaa (Finland) bowls 874, cut for top ten is 840. Paul Moor and Stuart Williams yet to bowl.
