Finland' s Lasse Lintilä defeated Sweden's Peter Ljung 268-228 in the title mach to win the EBT Instanbul Open held at the Timeout bowling centre in Istanbul, Turkey. Ljung, who won the last EBT tournament in France, defeated England's Stuart Williams 268-226 in the first semifinal. Lintilä defeated Sweden's Dennis Eklund 298-225 in the second semifinal.

Just missing out on the final where Robert Andersson (Swe), Guy Caminsky (RSA),  Erin Andersin (Swe and Osku Palermaa (Fin) who finished fifth to eighth.  England's Dominic Barrett cashed in tenth place while Rob Kendall (24th),  Kirsten Penny (35th) and Jo Allsebrook (44th) also made the final.
