Finland' s Osku Palermaa defeated PBA exempt bowler Bill O'Neil 453-374 to win his first ranking title of 2008 at the EBT Brunswick Aalborg Open. The Finn won the 10,000 Euro first prize while the American took 6.000 Euros for second place. Lintila reached the semi finals by defeating fellow Finn Lasse Lintila 431-426 while O'Neil defeated England's Dom Barrett 502-409. England' s Nick Froggatt and Paul Moor were eliminted in the first round of the final in 14th and 19th places. The full results are available on the tournament website.
