Sweden's Peter Ljung won three matches in the stepladder final to take the 16,000 Euro first prize at the EBT Brunswick Euro Challenge held at the Plaza Bowling centre in Saint Maximin, France. Ljung defeated Finland's Osku Palermaa 232-217 and then defeated America's Ronnie Russell 194-160. In the title match, Ljung defeated America's Mike Fagan 220-187. The top placed UK bowler was Adam Scott who finished seventh with Kirsten Penny 39th, Stuart Williams 46th, Zara Glover 50th and Jemma Smith 57th.
