Jari Ratia defeated Pasi Uotila 194 to 193 in an all Finnish affair to take the title and 12,000 Euro first prize at the EBT Catalonia Open.Ratia and Uotila qualified firsat and second for the final. The third seed for the final was Singapore's Remy Ong who was defeated by Ratia 184-177. The highest placed UK player was Dominic Barrett who finished 6th with Stuart Williams 15th, Kirsten Penny 17th, Rob Kendall 33rd and Paul Moor 41st.
