The ninth stop of the 2008 European Bowling Tour saw former rankings champion Gery Verbruggen of Belgium claim another title. Verbruggen who has been European Bowling Tour rankings champion four times, defeated Yoan Alix of France 268-192 to claim the 10,000 Euro first prize.

Verbruggen had earlier defeated top seed Dominic Barrett of England 236-184 while Alix had defeated Denmark's Winther Pedersen 219-169. England's Paul Moor finished seventh after earlier bowling a 300 game while Adam Scott (England) was 15th, Stuart Williams (England) was 17th, Rob Kendall (England) 32nd, Lee Coker (England) was 34th.
