 Verbruggen's first title in four years at EBT Paraske Cup |
 Gerry Verbruggen defeated PBA's Michael Fagan 236-201 to claim his first EBT title in four years and win 12,000 Euros. The Belgium left hander had earlier defeated Finland's Mika Koivuniemi 219-194 while Fagan had defeated qualifying leader Jean-Marc Lebon, also of Belgium, 218-181. Lebon had earlier bowled the tournament's only 300 game.
The top placed Brit was Daniel Stride who was eliminated in the Round of 8 by Fagan who also eliminated Stuart Williams in the Round of 16. Also qualified for the final were Rob Kendall who finished 15th, Kirsten Penny who finished 21st and Mike Quarry who finished 30th.
