i thought i was doing alreet at bowling for a bit there, but alas i was mistaken the revolutions on my ball appear (well not just appear they are) going backwards, ive seen many many vids of bowlers online a right handed bowler has the ball spinning to the left and slightly forwards which gives it momentum, my ball ends up spinning somewhat backwards meaning its actually braking and getting slower as it gets to the pins, where am i going wrong?

Hi.Poodle,What is actually happening is, as you release the ball your Thumb leaves the ball a split second too early! And your fingers are going under the ball forcing it to rotate backwards I have this on Video with one of our YBC Members, Who now have the ball rotating in the correct direction.
Solution: Go back to basics, start with your thumb pointing towards 10:00, O’clock and roll the ball without turning your hand, then just alter your hand position until you meet your desired Hand Release position.
