Here at AMF Bowling Purley we did our traditional BBC Children In Need event, this year we decided to do Pro & Am Trios. Every team had an Team England bowler and two amateurs per team. Mike Quarry, Rob Thurlby, Rob Kendall, John Wells, Matt Giles, Richard Teece, Ray Teece, Elliott Crosby, Laura Ivory, Sarah Purnell and Rachel Cox all donated their time to bowl and we had 22 amateurs to bowl with them.
Laura Ivory bagged the winning team for the night with Richie Teece and Sarah Purnell grabbing the 2nd and 3rd Spots respectively.
A great time was had by all and we raised £180! Big thanks to all the England bowlers, amateurs and supporters who came on the night! Thanks also to everyone who donated things; Bowling Vision, Bowltech, Bowlrite Pro Shop, Qubica AMF and Lee Crosby who helped us raise the £180 and gave trophies and goodie bags to all our winners!
