Once again a disappointing entry for this years Transplant singles.

Only 25 came to a sunny AMF Torquay but some great bowling came from quite a few of them. Notably qualifying averages of 230 Gordon Humphries, 229 Paul Harris and Steve Kay, 223 Adam Moon, 219 Lee Wills, 215 Chris West, 210 Keith Moore, and 201 Keith Gretton.

Qualifying for the scratch Round Robin were Gordon, Steve, Paul, Lee, Chris and Keith Moore.

Adam qualified in first place for the handicap section joined by Keith Gretton, Paul Howard, Adam Lewis, Ian Duff and Kevin Neck.

After the 5 rounds of the R.R. the results were close after the winners. Gordon winning the scratch with 2654 incl bonus (232 Avg) not loosing a match in the process. Second was Steve with 2516 (228).

In the Handicap section Adam Moon was a worthy winner with 2554 incl hcp and bonus (215 Avg) Adam Lewis just stole second place from Keith Gretton playing each other in the last game and Adam coming out on top.

A few thanks. To H and staff at AMF, especially TJ who kept lanes running all day. To Gill who was my number 1 scorer today and finally all who took part thanks helping us to raise 110 pounds for the cause.

Next tournaments at Torquay will be the Centinarian Doubles in Sept, the Angela Morey Trios in November and the Xmas Match play not surprisingly in December between Xmas and the New Year.
