_{This event, specifically for those players in their last year of Junior bowling, is the richest it has ever been with prize money of £800 for the winning boy and £500 for the winning girl. The winners also get two shirts embroidered with NAYBC UK Champion 2008 (to be worn at events)The NAYBC UK Championships is designed to provide the winners with a financial stepping stone to further their bowling careers once their time as a Junior is up. The prize money can be used to pay for YAC events and Adult (Team England) events.} 

_{Qualification was the top 16 boys and girls from the Rankings using their best seven from the 11 Ranking events of the 2007-8 season. Invitations have been posted to all those listed.}
