 European team for the 1st Federation Tenpin Bowling Cup 2008 |
The 1st Federation Tenpin Bowling Cup 2008, will be held on 28 and 29 July 2008 in Barcelona - Catalonia, just after the conclusion of Stop 11 in the EBT 2008, the 30 Trofeu Internacional Ciutat de Barcelona.
The tournament, which is hosted by the Catalan Bowling Federation, is an invitational tournament, established to promote bowling in Catalonia and the city of Barcelona.
In the tournament there will be 3 women teams and 3 men teams, each representing one of the 3 WTBA Zones. Each team will consist of 4 players.
There will be 7 disciplines in the tournament, namely singles women, singles men, doubles women, doubles men, all event women, all event men and mixed team of five - bakers style.
The following two very strong teams will represent Europe in the 1st Federation Tenpin Bowling Cup 2008.

Osku Palermaa, Finland
Peter Ljung, Sweden

Tore Torgersen, Norway
All 4 players at the men’s team are members of the same famous Swedish club, Team Pergamon from Gothenburg.
