USA's Bill Hoffman and Austalia's Anne Maree Putney have triumphed in the QubicaAMF World Cup held in St Petersburg Russia.  Putney went to the best of three game step ladder final as top seed and defeated Lee Sun Hee of Korea 280-201, 247-226. Sun Hee had earlier defeated Tina Hulsch of Germany 226-223, 258-227. In the men's stepladder final, Bill Hoffman defeated top seed Jason Belmonte of Australia 227-147, 192-268, 221-181. Hoffman had earlier defeated Andres Gomez of Colombia 247-196, 276-205 in the first match.

The highest placed UK bowler was Paul Moor (England) who finished in fifth place on 8909 over 40 games. Other UK and Irish representatives were Mark McQueen (Scotland) who finished 22nd with 6617 over 32 games, Graham Coles (Gibraltar) who finished 43rd with 4752 over 24 games, Darragh McLoughlin (Ireland) who finished 47th with 4634 over 24 games, Grant Dugan (N. Ireland) who finished 48th with 4623 over 24 games, Mike High (Jersey) who finished 56th with 4257 over 24 games, Nick Cayzer (Isle of Man) who finished 70th with 4435 over 24 games, Tim Johnson (Wales) who finished 72nd with 4354 over 24 games and Matt Southwell (Guernsey) who finished 80th with 4131 over 24 games.

The highest placed UK female was Jo Allsebrook (England) who finished 10th with 6705 over 32 games.  Other UK and Irish representatives were Helen Tamblyn (N. Ireland) who finished 26th with 4746 over 24 games, Amanda McDermott (Ireland) who finished 30th with 4704 over 24 games, Lauren Hurford (Guernsey) who finished 39th with 4596 over 24 games,  Jacqui MacColl (Scotland) who finished 51st with 4390 over 24 games, Sarah Morgan (Wales) who finished 67th with 3968 over 24 games, June High (Jersey) who finished 68th with 3880 over 24 games and Charly Clark (Gibraltar) who finished 72nd with 3752 over 24 games.
